Congrats to him. 7,768 yards? That's a lot of golf course. I don't think there's ever been a professional event played from that length.

sorry it is 7,668 yards and it was here http://www.rtjgolf.com/hamptoncove/scorecard/
on a side note one of the perks of playing in sub state and state is you play rtj courses for free

Congrats to him!

Looks like they played from the Orange tees, not from the tips: https://www.ghintpp.com/BAMAGOLF/TPPOnlineScoring/CourseStats.aspx?id=27 (https://www.ghintpp.com/BAMAGOLF/TPPOnlineScoring/CourseStats.aspx?id=27). Still longer than I like to play!

Nice find smalls, 6,500 yards is a lot different than 7,700 yards :D little off :D

I kind of wondered about that. Even here in Cheeseland, where the cheese makes the high school boys extra powerful, 6,400 to 6,500 is the norm for high school golf.

I was just surprised they would play from the tips, even in a state tournament (which I never went to in high school!) The few tournaments I played in we teed off the men's regular tees.
