All of a sudden I started flipping through impact and it is killing my ball striking. Has this happened to anyone else? I figure that it is a temporary thing. I hope. How do I get it to stop?:angry::banghead::bad::at-wits-end:
Any and all suggestions are welcome!

i had this problem for a bit... it was actually from attempting to hone my flopshot skills... hahaha
mine was caused by deceleration of my left arm and swinging with my arms instead of my body... it also killed my distance... not that i have a ton of that anyway

Try hitting some short smooth/easy pitch shots, and concentrate on holding your wrist angle/cock/whatever you want to call it. I get to flipping when I get to raising up. Hitting some shor game type shots helps get the right form back for me. I think I even saw Andy suggest something similar to somebody awhile back.
On the course I'll even take a few practice pitching swings with my PW or GW, wherever I am on the course, to get the feel I'm looking for.

Try and keep left shoulder down through impact, it will make it almost impossible to flip

Our coach noticed I was doing this when he watched me practice on the range. He made me place two shafts or rods about 6-12" apart towards the target line. I had to place the ball in the middle of the rods and practice hitting straight short shots with a half swing back and half swing forward. If it went left, it was usually because I was breaking my wrists on impact. It really helped to practice this.
