View Full Version : Show Conclusion
So we made it back home after the show today and are glad to be back. We will be spending the next few hours uploading videos and pictures for everybody and we will apologize up front about the videos. The show was very hectic so some of them are quite shaky or tough to hear. But we did our best to get you some great info.

Thanks JB, so far all of you have done an outstanding job covering the show.
We got tons more coming now. Pics, Videos, and more. Tons more equipment and apparel. We wanted to try and capture the show for everyone. Not just for club people. We will have all the pictures of the clubs out there, but they are everywhere. We wanted you guys to see everything else the show has to offer as well.

I had a great time at the show with JB and GG! Hit some great clubs and met some great people from the top companies in the industry.
Passing time at the airport, wish I never had to leave Florida. It is so amazing down here.

Okay that's it I need to come for spring break, I'm not in school and school so technically I don't have to wait 'till then but I figure the crowds might look better around that time ...and thanks for everything you guys did. JB I see you went with the Eidolon wedges that's going to be m choice for '09 as well, will be the first time I have not had a Cleveland Wedge in my bag.
You are welcome to join us AJ
We only have a couple of more for tonight. Then we will be back tomorrow and finish up the rest of the pictures and videos. We are exhausted. We know it is a lot to look through, however you we wanted it to be complete coverage for everyone. We saw a lot and so will you.

For my 500th post... I wanted to not only Thank JB, GG, and DD but congratulate them as well. Job well done and you guys should be very proud of the hard work you have put in the past few days.
It was very easy to get sidetracked at the show and it looks like you covered a ton of ground in such a short amount of time. There was far more to look at than I thought possible but you guys definately powered through it all.
:clapp::clapp:Great Job!:clapp::clapp:

JB, GG and DD; what would you say is the coolest/most interesting thing you saw at the show?

They did not do an indoor booth AK. Just outdoor this year.

We are going to be putting a list together now. The most fun booth was definitely Gogie Girl. Hanging out with Duffy and crew was a blast all week. The most interesting thing on equipment would have to be how slow some of the major brands were and how busy some of the smaller brands were.

Would you say the clothing aspect was more fun the gear side of the show?
Your pics have turned me onto a couple of brands I never heard of before such as Sligo & now I am actively looking at picking up a couple items from them as well as Puma.
Thanks again
I would say that we enjoyed the clothing side because the people are so passionate and creative. Plus, they are all so different.

For me I enjoyed the clothing side more. I love being able to talk one-on-one with the actual designer(s) of the clothes rather than a PR person with the big equipment companies. I also like it more because those are the types of reviews I write so it was so great to finally put a face to all the wonderful people I have been speaking with.
The most interesting thing I saw at the show was definitely Edel Putters. Just watching that man work is amazing, I swear he is such an incredible wealth of knowledge and his passion is something to be recognized.
The whole show was just incredible, it was such a wonderful experience and as much as my back and feet were hurting at the end I had a great time and I can't wait to go back next year. In the meantime I look forward to covering a ton of other great things in the golf world over the year.

for JB and GG YES! they are a pretty fashion forward couple. As for myself, the gear was the highlight for me. I enjoyed talking to some of the tour reps fro various companies. Picking their brains.... very fun!

you have no idea... I was chatting with tour reps and players who played a few nationwide events and just talking about the game and how they work on things. Impressive being around that kind of talent...
There were a few gear people that we loved speaking with as well. Im sure DD would agree.
John Hoeflich was fascinating and the nicest guy.
David Edel absolutely blew our mind.
Scott from the Nickent Tour Truck
Paul Hurrion from GEL putters was amazing.
Duffy turned out to be the "friend" at the show. Could talk with him for hours and we did.
