Not counting MyJoys, has anyone looked into getting custom made golf shoes? There are a few companies out there, but the prices are almost staggering. Just wondering if anyone has taken the plunge?

The box arrived today with the Custom Made Shoes from Par West. These things are absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately I do not get to keep them, but I do understand that they are VERY expensive. But the review will be up in the next few days for people wondering about shoes like this.

One would think right? But I guess they are for photo purposes only.

Good point Mike.

Are they gonna sell them to the next person as 'custom fitted'?

LOL :twist:

He says they are sample shoes and are for his store front.

Here is the unboxing of the custom shoes. These things are SICK. The nicest shoes I have ever seen.
Box arrives with 2 pairs. Even the bag the shoes come in are nice.

Pics from other angles?

Which cleats do they use?

Arch support?

Waterproof?

Does it turn into a phone (ala Maxwell Smart)?

All of that will be in the review. It will be up by the weekend.

Wow that 2nd pair looks really extreme. I can't even imagine the pricetag.

JB

Dent,
They are about $2500 per pair.

They look sweet. What makes them custom, do they mold your foot?

JB
11-05-2008, 08:47 PM
They do mold your foot. They send you something that you stick your foot in and then custom build it around that.

TheGasman

Thats awesome. So are they pretty comfortable, like 2500 dollars comfortable?

JB
11-05-2008, 08:51 PM
To me? For 2500 comfort should not be the only factor. But these things are made like nothing I have ever seen before. I told my better half that for these shoes I would close this place down to keep them if I had no morals.

Unfortunately I have morals and they will be going back. But these things are amazing. And built to last a lifetime.

those can not be properly tested in sunny Florida. they should be tested in a rain forest, like....here!

Dent,
They are about $2500 per pair.

FYI JB, I think the zero key on your keyboard is sticking a little.

Harry, please stop making hilarious posts. I'm worried I might burst my appendix. :rotfl: Your posts are becoming a health hazard.

When I thought so I thought the same thing. They have shoes that are double that cost even.
