I am interested in buying a small travel humidor and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a brand/type to purchase? I am looking for something that will hold approximately 10 cigars. Want to be ready for my golf trip in October!:alien2:
CM can chime in with the one I gave him. I liked it a lot. Picked it up on C-bid for next to nothing. Great little package. I cannot seem to find it now, but he will post on it soon.
The Herf-a-dor's are very popular as well.

Here is exactly what you need. http://stores.cigarsolutions.com/Categories.bok?category=Cigar+Caddy
These are waterproof and virtually indestructable. I would go ahead and get the 15 count as it is only $2 more then get a $2 Boveda pack to keep it properly humidified(it is listed on the same page). If you are flying they may pressurize and you may have to take a dime and "pry" it open.
Towards the bottom of this page you can see how I set mine up(post #83 in the thread).

Thanks CM! That happens to be the brand I was considering but figured I would check with the experts first. :D

Ive got the 15 count like Craig mentioned. Its nice and it looks good on your wrist for those special occasions.

Herf-a-Dor X5 Traveldor - 5-Capacity - Cigars International (http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=M-CIO3400&cat=10)
I got one of these of cigar bid for around 10 bucks. It fits really well in a golf bag and protects my smokes well. This one holds 5 sticks but they make one that holds 15 but is to big for a golf bag.

I've got an original Herf-A-Dor 10 count. It's served me well for years, been bounced around in the back pickup trucks, ridden in my golf bag, it survived the Baja a couple years back, fell in a river, and still looks fantastic.
I like the Pelican and the Xikar offerings as well.
Now - if I've got somewhere fancy to go, or I just feel a little bit special, I've also got a nice Xikar 3 finger leather case that Mrs Gummi got for me. It's really good looking (Cognac colour) Cigar Cases : Hold up to three cigars (http://xikar.com/product_case.asp)
