I just finished playing 9 holes on day when I thought I might play 27. It was windy (30 mph gusting to close to 40 mph.) I just could not find my comfort zone. The wind was mostly playing either in my face or at my back. On the 1st tee I hit a so-so tee shot that had a little fade to it but with the head-on wind in turned into ugly slice and ended up in the rough almost 60 yards off my target.
I just could not figure out how to adjust to the windy conditions and my tempo was way too fast. I finally finished the ninth hole and just went home. Are there key swing thoughts or different ways to set up when it is windy that would help? It would be nice just to wait for a calmer day but in North Dakota it is not unusual to have these kind of stiff winds.

I have a few things I do when the wind is blowing. I will wait till the pro answers before I give an opinion.
