What do you mean by custom texure? I would want to be very confident with what I was doing before I tried it and even then I wouldn't want to do it.

No no no. Thats not what i meant. Sorry about that. I mean doing so in an effort to make my putter feel like a putter with a milled face.

that sounds like a bad idea. i dont think sand paper is going to give you what your looking for. if it was that easy i think some r&d teams might get a pink slip.

Yeah I don't think wallpaper will go nearly deep enough or accurate enough to imitate a milled face. Could try on an old putter you don't want anymore.
