Valentine’s Day Contest With Golf4Her/Golf4Him

Just sent my entry in.
 
I've almost got my poem done! I reckon I could use a $200 shopping spree.
 
Got my entry in at the buzzer. Thanks THP and Golf4Her this was a great contest!
 
So, here was mine:

I was in a Quagmire about what to buy
For my Sporty Chic wife as Valentine’s draws nigh
When she is Dressed 4 The Nines she simply looks Smashing
Add in some Blingo and she’s even more Dashing.

As much as I wish I was the Hugo Boss,
these fights with my girl are always a loss,


She's always yelling but calls me the Loudmouth,
Oh geeze this relationship sure is going south!
 
Golfers are passionate, filled with love and dreams, but the game can make you so angry that your Golftini and Fila shirts bust at their seams

With the edge of the hole, the little ball flirts, putting a big wrinkle in your LoudMouth and Wear to Win Skirts

All of a sudden those close shots start droppin’ and no longer do you have to worry about your Hugo Boss shirt buttons poppin’

Victory is achieved and you begin to dance, shaking that booty in a pair of hot Tommy Hilfiger Pants
 
And here is mine:

There once was a girl on the links,
who bought her foursome some drinks,
one spilled all the liquor
all over her kikkors,
and now she just can't catch a wink.
 
I'm trying hard to forget mine, hehe


I so miss You You
since all you want to do is hang out with Ame & Lulu
while I moonlight as a grave digger

This is great of THP and Christina over at Golf4Her. A short poem.... I dunno I'm more of a sonnet kind of guy. On my off days though more like Japanese Haiku.

Its all my fault, it started to go south;
We got in a fight, I was a "Loudmouth".
Im here to say im sorry, you are my desire,
You know I love you as much, as my THP shirt by "Quagmire."
 
Here are 3 I came up with. I submitted the last one. They are pretty lame, but I have no shame.

Playing golf in the rain
In this Quagmire I feel no pain
At the turn I changed my Golftini
And snuck in another Martini


The Sun glistening off the morning dew
Still remembering last night’s brew
The Quagmire gone at last
This round is going to be a blast

Tales of snow were foretold
But all we got was bitter cold
Battling #3’s might in my Golftini
Can’t stop thinking about #19’s Martini

Damn that girl looks good in her FILA polo
I think I could almost mistake her for Hope Solo!
But no she's a golfer, with a swing so sweet
Watch her hit that wedge - to within 5 feet!

Was fun! Though I'm not a poet by any means.

I dont want to share mine but it rocked. Lol well not so much but I did enter!
