So, I thought I'd not be one to do this, but I thought it might help to get some feelings out. I lost a friend and co-worker I found out this Monday. I don't know much about how he passed, which is frustrating as he was only 40. He had a son he loved very much you could tell. He wasn't the closest friend I have, but a friend nonetheless. He was always cool to me and we got along well. We'd golfed in a couple charity tournaments together, and played together on the best 9 holes I've ever played (shot a 41). I have a lot of good memories of him. It hurts more than I can understand that he's gone. I've lost many friends and family in my life, but it never gets easy.
