How I Ruined My Swing

At work I was running a job that had 15 minutes of down time every hour. During that time I would grab a 3/4" x 5 ft piece of pipe and make golf swings with it. Well I did this for about 2 weeks before I had the chance to play golf again and when I finally did get the chance to play again I had found that my previously fairly smooth 9 handicap swing had turned into an ugly over the top shank laden 20 handicap swing. I am now in the process of trying to rebuild my swing. I can't believe how much my swing is screwed up right now and I can't seem to get it back on track. Almost every shot is on the inside 1/3 of the club with a few clankers thrown in just to totally destroy my confidence.

Sounds like a great time actually! I'm new around here and trying to get up to speed with all of the goings on. Looks like a great bunch.

I'm heading up to Deere Run near the Illinois/Iowa border on Monday. Hopefully I can find a way to get around the course without too much embarrassment.
