What did you shoot today?

36/42 today go figure! Yesterday I couldn't hit anything and today it was on auto-pilot!
I did putt really well today and the driver was just awesome since I changed the lie angle and closed the face. I just wish I could get more loft on it.
138 par 3 banged one off the stick and sunk the bird.
The Mashie hybrids were straight money today. The greens were super dry and fast so I switched up to a bump and run game and that ATV 54 does an awesome job of that!

Another beautiful 80* day in Southeast Texas....a little windy 20-25 mph, 2 triples killed my round today

42/44 = 86

8/13 Fairways
6 GIR
31 putts
1 sand shot
2 pentalty shots

Really I had a really good day hitting iron shots which is what I have been struggling with since I started the swing change....couple of blowup holes hurt my scoring...but the swing felt really good today.

Does 31 putts please you or make you mad TBT?

Being that close to your handicap has to be pretty good considering the two triples. 6 strokes on two holes stings!

A 79. 39-40 with 9/14 FWs, 6/18 GIR and 29 putts. I hit the ball like crap today, but putted well. I scored so well on the front to make a 39 but the back was just horrible. The back here is much easier than the front so I expect to shoot better there. Thought I had potential to go low today but nope.

52/48 at The Rock at Country Creek. Three 8s kept me from scoring below the hundred mark. First 2 came in the first 3 holes. Couldn't get my tee shot figured out for about 4 holes. After I got that figured out, much better day off the tee. For some reason, tho, I couldn't get my short game going today. Had 33 putts, but the wedges just couldn't find the green from the fairway. One of these days it's all going to come together and I will break 90, at which point I may quit this game, going out on a high note.

43/43 today
Struggled with tee ball, but irons and wedges were solid. Was burning edges of cups on putts, ill take the score considering the wet and windy conditions

31 putts is fine really...I would prefer to be 30 or under...but it wasn't my putter that cost me today...tee shot in the water on one hole and then chunked a chip shot on that hole for one triple...then misjudged a shot out of the round...caught a huge flier lie and hit one over the green OOB for the other triple, I also had a double...so 8 of the 14 strokes over par came on 3 holes....if I just make bogey on those holes then I am in good shape.

Like I said I really felt good about the round because of the progress in swing change,....really felt good hitting the mid irons today.

I think I shot a hundy today. I just had no swing whatsoever. Was hitting 3 off the tee more times than I can count. Couldn't putt either. Had fun though. Played with Dhill and Butters and Frank. Frank wrecked me with a PB

Sorry to hear it buddy, but sounds exactly like my round. Worst of the year by far, just had nothing out there. Hard to be upset though, I'm golfing in Nebraska in December, haha.

43/53 what a bad day. Started on the back 9 and played decent but the front 9 my game was gone. Missed a ton of putts just coming up short.

We had a gorgeous day, mid 50s with light winds. My game wasn't bad but it wasn't quite clicking either. I putted pretty bad too. Of course the greens haven't been mowed in ages so everything was tough to read. Wound up shooting a 39-40 for a +7 round of 79. Started both 9s with birdies but followed them both up with bogey, that's irritating!

All in all I'll take it though, didn't have my best swing, but pulled some decent shots out at times.

I guess you can't really get too angry about that. Global Warming has some fine points!

High 70s coming up in myrtle eh Mikey??!

41/43= 84 at Sun City with 2 birdies

+5 41
the weather was too nice today and the crowd was crazy... 3 hour 9
I'm surprised I played as well as I did since it was brutally slow

It is great to see so many northern golfers getting a round in during December! I played Newport national. Great course. I couldn't hit a tee shot to save my life. It was so frustrating! Finished with a 105. Easily my worst round of the year but getting to play in December! I'll take that.

90. Today was the first time I had been able to play since Ohio, which is kind of depressing, to be honest. I really struggled with my short irons and wedges on the front nine. Made the turn and started striking the ball pretty well all the way through the bag. One thing remained pretty constant today, and that was I couldn't putt to save my life.

50 /46
There were several ugly holes. I was happy with playing better on the back including paring the 3 par 3's.

I shot a pair of 92's today at the Links at Cottonwood in Tunica, MS. I was the first one out today and got a replay and finished in near darkness but got the 36 in as I wanted. This is the course at the Harrahs casino in Tunica and was designed by Hale Irwin. It was a nice links layout except for the dormant burmuda greens that were painted green. Fastest and most severe greens I have ever played. They made Grand Cypress South look lame. The constant 20 mph wind didn't effect my play as much as I thought it would but it was a full 3 clubs difference on several shots. On to Dallas tomorrow and hopefully some golf while I am there.

Give me a shout next time in or around Memphis.

Shot 73. Been grinding in the indoor range and reading Hogan's 5 lessons. It's paid off my ball striking is crisp and I'm keeping the ball in play. Just need to make some putts.

Nice round!

Funny. Hang in there, my game got better in spurts. A string of low 90's eventually became mid 80's &now low 80's. 2013 is the year for me to make the 70's!

Android by choice.

51/43. I played Sky Creek Ranch in Keller, Tx today. I had some issues with the wind today. Not sure of what kind of shots to hit. I was trying to play the wind to start with, but I was hittinng boring type shots. The wind had no affect at all on the flight of the ball, until it was a direct cross wind. Absolutely killed me. I did not adjust well all day. And the leaves on the course were crazy. I believe we lost 4 balls today because of the leaves. If you missed the fairway, it was almost impossible to find them. Finally started to actually play some decent golf on the 12th hole, but at that point it was to late to salvage a respectable score.
I was 1 over for the last 6 holes. That should show you how bad the first 12 were. I went back and checked the score card and noticed the driver only came out of the bag on one hole on the front and I proceeded to snap hook that tee shot. Still salvaged a bogey on that one. All in all it was a fun round, just not a good round.

afwcardinal, really like that course!

Too many rounds to comment on so I'll just say, great playing gentlemen, whether good or bad rounds, you all were playing in December!!!

That's a great call man. I am so thankful to be able to hit the course right now. Conditions aren't incredible, but they are great for December!

I shot an 89 in a rainstorm.

I'm involuntarily going through a swing change, and can't stop myself. I liked what I was doing ... found out something I was doing wrong and am fixing it, taking a step back, and am doing it when I was on top of my game.

Not sure what I'm thinking, or why I can't just go back to what I was doing, but I'm angry and need a slap in the face.
