Once again, vacation time but sounds like a blast! Looks like Vegas for $100 is gonna be my shot?!
 
I dislike Gino's as well. Shoot, I prefer Giordano's to Gino's. Lou Malnati's is another good one. I never gave Uno much of a chance. There's a bunch of other great places in the city too.

Forget getting a pie, I'm gonna horde up on some Portillo's.

Haha... Love Portillo's!!! Couldn't live without a Portillo's close by. :)
 
Hey Hawk, have you looked into any of these? Just thinking off the top of my head. Thunderhawk, Blackstone, Makray (might be expensive), Cantigny, Aldeen, Bowes Creek. Those are just some I have been to and have enjoyed. I know they might not be ideal locations (some in the middle of nowhere) but are good tracks. Also some decent ones out in Geneva. Let me know if I could help.
 
Not sure how I missed this thread since I've been waiting for it. Just confirmed with my wife and it's in the family calendar so I have her blessings.

I'm going to throw some course names out there since I have no preference of the location. Just happy to meet up with THPer's.

Catigny (I know this one is pricey but good experience. Can get a caddie for all who like to walk)

Arbo in Buffalo Grove has my number. I don't really enjoy the target golf the layout calls for. Just my opinion, though.
 
Oh no, not a holiday weekend, I know for a fact that this week is full for vacation at work. I may have to get creative to make it, cough, cough.

Gino's is alright but I like Lou's butter crust better. That is the option ppl forget to ask for and it makes a big difference.

Another course I'd like to throw out there is Hilldale.

This one may be closer to me than the Ohio invitational.:D I will have to try and attend this. It being between the outing and MC will have to see.

lol I've been working on it for awhile, but just needed a final date. Need to move quick with it being a holiday weekend and all.
