Haha, for you wouldn't it be better if I were wearing knee socks?

I will do my best to post an update. I can't have a camera or phone etc while I am there, but will post from my iPhone ASAP.

I am so excited!:blob:

GO USA!!

Post a photo of you in knee socks next, and I'm yours forever. It's a rule of the universe - I have no choice in the matter: underwear peep + painted tootsies + knee socks = slave to love.*

So, so cool soxy.

GC has already started its Solheim Cup buildup. They've started showing Solheim Cup highlights shows from years past and Playing Lessons with Solheim Cup team members.

Keep in mind, however, that with great power comes great responsibility.

Thanks Harry for the photos! What is with Natalie and the t-shirt under the dress, weird. Love the team photo with Beth, Christina and Morgan on the right doing a little hand on the hip pose!

Kristy McPherson: First day on Solheim Cup team exceeds expectations

Wow, are you kidding me? It's like Christmas in August up here just outside Chicago at Rich Harvest Farms. I am one day into my rookie experience as a Solheim Cupper.
I arrived at Rich Harvest Farms last night around 8. Upon arrival I had to drop my stuff in my room and run to our team cookout and first team meeting of the week.
After some good dinner and some good pep talking, I finally had the time to go to my room and play with all of my new toys. From bookbags to juicers to travel bags, putters, jewelry, umbrellas, towels, hats, clothes, motivational books and a new golf bag. My room was just an ocean of red, white and blue, packed with gifts that covered the five-star room. The absolute coolest thing I did last night - and I think I have ever done - was change my golf bag from my staff bag to my Solheim Cup bag with United States of America written on the side and Kristy McPherson and a South Carolina flag on the front.

Just seeing my name and my country on that bag gave me chill bumps.
So after finally organizing all of my gifts, I got to get some good rest on the first night of a very busy week. After an early morning team breakfast, I went for a nine-hole practice round with Angela Stanford. She says I will always remember playing my first Solheim practice round with her, but I think she just wanted to play with me. No, it really was great to play with one of my best friends in my first practice round. It made Monday seem very comfortable and just like another normal practice round. Of course, during a normal practice-round we don't have thousands of fans wanting autographs and screaming red, white and blue.
I know this is going to be a very busy week. Day 1 has already been a little overwhelming with a packed schedule and just a few minutes in the middle for a break. Just enough time for Brittany Lincicome and I to smoke Paula Creamer and Brittany Lang in ping pong four straight games. Today is going to be even busier because it's a big media day for the rookies.
It's a lot of work this week, but it's refreshing and an honor when I look at my caddy walking down the fairway with my golf bag on his shoulder and knowing that I have an opportunity this week to represent my country. This is our chance to play for millions of people who enjoy golf and who enjoy the competitive spirit of this great game.
We have been given a hard time lately for the Americans not stepping up on our tour. I think this week is a chance for myself, 11 other girls, and three captains to play golf for our great country and to give them all something of which to be proud.
So trust when I tell you that we are working hard this week to make you proud. Morgan Pressel sent us all a great picture of the Statue of Liberty with a quote saying "this is what we are playing for girls." We are honored to represent our country and, come Sunday afternoon, hope to be holding that trophy high. Wear your colors proud. Go USA.

Good God! Morgan Pressel looks hot (for lack of a better word) in that shot.

Front row, right hand side is ... ?

Kristy McPherson.

Spoiler
Agreed! Tennis shoes and all.

Love the team photo with Beth, Christina and Morgan on the right doing a little hand on the hip pose!

Christina looks more like she's doin' the "hide the adult beverage from the camera" pose. :D

She's pretty damn good looking too.

Good God, I love the Solheim time :D

Shes a local, and I love Kristy. But I gotta tell you, that picture makes her look MUCH cuter than she really is.

Kristy is a stud. Seriously -- I saw her at the McD's in Maryland, and was thinking I wish I had her arms.

Is it wrong that I get more excited about the Solheim/Ryder cups, team events, than I get about the majors?

Good answer Harry! I think JB is selling Kristy McPherson short.

Helen Alfredsson is rough on one reporter! And sounds like she was tough as a captain.

When you see her in person, I think you may reconsider. Being a local we see her at the range, and she is sweet, but she is not a looker.

Look at all those sock tans!

Seriously, am I the only one who thinks those are hawt?

(And I don't even have a foot fetish!)

I think that may be up for debate.

How is that hot by the way?

:D I promise, no foot fetish. There are much more interesting lady parts to fetishize about!

Hawt because it signifies a girl/woman who is one the course a lot, and who is more concerned about her golf than her tan lines. And it's just a tiny bit tomboy-ish for some reason. I've always liked girls who are still girly, but have a little tomboy in them.

It's a little hard to explain, but I suppose it's how I wear my goggle tan (to the extent I get one) in winter with pride even though it's dorky looking.

What makes me sad is that they (apparently) have to be told.

No "We" in Wie: Parents told to back off during Solheim Cup
Posted at 2:19 PM by Jim Gorant | Categories: Solheim

The most interesting subplot during the Solheim Cup at Rich Harvest Farms near Chicago no doubt will involve the most celebrated player in the event, Michelle Wie. The second-youngest participant in cup history (19 years, 10 months), Wie will spend a rare week away from her parents. The ever-present B.J. and Bo Wie have been politely told that they will not be allowed in the locker room or team-lodging area, or at team meals. It'll be interesting to see how this affects Michelle, but the Wies faced a similar banishment at the 2004 Curtis Cup and Michelle played great. Repeat?

The news about Mr and Mrs Wie having to keep their distance is the best bit of news I've heard all week...

Oh wait! I'm supposed to be supporting the other team!! That's the worst news I've heard all week!! :bulgy-eyes:
