Best Player Without A Major

I'm a big fan of Garcia and Westwood, but Garcia can't close out a major and Westwood's time is running out. Stricker is also getting old. Donald is a class act but can't handle the pressure. Fowler will win a few but not soon. If Poulter can play a major like it's the Ryder Cup then he'll easily win 1 or 2. A couple of Europeans, Manassero and Oleson, are both solid players and definitely have a chance. Realistically I would say Kuchar or Mahan right now.

As others have mentioned, Jason Day is the most likely to win one imo, but I don't necessarily consider him the best without one. If he ever puts together a dominant Saturday, he'll win walking away with his play on Sunday.

Luke Donald is probably the one who fits the old criteria that used to be hung on Phil.

On a related tangent, I liked the article I read somewhere about whether or not Tiger will ever win another one.
