The 5th hole at Riverside in Edmonton

DSCN1159.JPG

Not long or tight looking but don't hit it under those trees. There is no swing under there and you are not getting it up and out. The best you can do is punch it out. Its really lush as we have had so much rain. They finally cut the rough this week.

Long Island National. The first is from a week ago and shows the second green.

12th hole. Water on the left and right then a little further down more water on the left.

The opening tee shot at Scothurst Golf Course in Lumber Bridge, NC. A pretty easy opening hole, 370 yard slight dogleg right to a green with a false front.

This is the 163 Meter per 3 4th hole at Magenta Shores Golf Club 1.5 hours drive north of Sydney.

Wow some great photos in here. Would love to play some of these courses

My son sent these two pics to me today. He's on a golf trip with 4 guys and they are playing Pebble Beach and Spyglass. I think they are playing 5 rounds in 3 days. I'm so jealous!

Here's another picture my son sent of him on #7 at Pebble Beach this afternoon.

Dang KB that looks sweet!

Here's a phone pic of the course I played last week. This small photo from a distance does the course absolutely no justice. This was taken from the practice green adjacent to the first tee looking down at mostly the front nine. It's hands down the nicest golf course I've ever played. Yocha Dehe course at the Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, CA. It's a Troon golf course. If any of you ever come through the northern CA area, I highly, highly reccomend making some time to visit this course.

Got to play the River Course at Kingsmill this weekend. They had a ton of rain the week prior to our arrival, and a good amount while we were there. :D Here's a few of the last holes.

It was a great track. Struggled on Saturday prior to us getting rained out, but was able to bring in the back 9 with a 42 on Sunday. Greens were a little faster than I'm used to but boy were they slick on the down hill putts. Apart from the course, it was awesome to walk around the clubhouse and see some of the great names on all the trophies. A lot of history there.

Starr Pass in Tucson, Az.

Saw 3 bucks and 4 javalina during this round.

Ballyneal in NE Colorado. Tom Doak masterpiece. Think Sand Hills, but better.

Kingsmill is a great track. A fun, fun course. I used to go there when they had a PGA stop.

It was fun. I was expecting it to be a little longer, but it had enough challenge for me. Some of the greens were a touch brutal...

This is a picture of the approach to #13 at my home course last Tuesday.
