I much prefer traditional styling. I appreciate the newer styles on younger people, but not on me. Too fat and out of shape for it.

I like Peter Millar a lot - there are a couple of men's stores locally that sell the line.

It's an interesting vibe--to me it looks very young, upscale, and British. Looks good, but it won't fly in this area.

That's because it is. Although not restricted to young. To me, Peter Millar is what Polo used to be.

Something that doesn't come through in the photos is the quality of the materials. It is impeccable. The highest high end. Some apparel is expensive and you can't tell why. With Millar, you can tell why. The styles are also timeless.

I really like this brand. Quality never leaves a bad taste later even if the price of it seemed high. Clothes that last and maintain their looks end up costing less because they don't have to be replaced.

question. since i don't have the fall 2010 catalog (yet)....do you remember if that green vest is men's or women's. i am trying to decipher by the rest of the rack but it's hard to tell. i am really leaning toward trying to convince myself that it's ladies....which is a giant yay.

I'm not gonna lie, most of the show is still a blur to me. But I'm almost positive the vest is in the men's line section. Of course, it was in one of the buyer coves, so it could have been moved by a rep. There might be hope.
