Hello THP, my name is Stephen and am located in Phx, AZ.
A little history on my golf game: I have been golfing twice in my life before this summer. I actually hated golf because I found it super difficult and I just sucked at it. Playing in sports all my life I usually adapted well to new sports and was good at everything I played; so I thought golf would fit in my bag BUT I was wrong lol.
Well this all changed after one of my good friends lent me his old golf club set in the beginning of summer. I wasn't too keen on learning but after we went out to the range and he taught me a few pointers and finally hit some good shots I was HOOKED. I ordered and read Ben Hogan's Five Lessons book which helped tremendously. I've gone golfing about twice a week now and even purchased my own club set. I started shooting around 30+ in the beginning of summer and have lowered that down to 19+. I still have a lot to learn being new to the game but am enjoying every minute of it. Glad to have found THP and hope to contribute here at some point. Cheers!
