did you not see the shirt spank? it had color. i guess i could've worn white pants but we live in the mountains man, white pants is a sign of weakness, lol.
yep, foster's going to be a big fella, which is perfect, he'll have coaches drooling over him when he's in middle school and stuff. there's some private schools here that i would love for him to be able to get scholarships to, that is, if he plays sports.

Illinois and Indiana have openings for a GIS specialist needed for the state. Her only downfall would be no previous work with the agency since it is a GS-12 position. Most college grads with a 4 year degree start as a GS-5 or GS-7. Nothing should keep her from applying if interested though.

I figured so. The KSA's are the big part of the application so make sure she emphasizes everything there. The more fluff the better because that is the interview. There is rarely a face-to-face interview. There are other natural resource and/or gis positions with the NRCS, USFS, EPA, etc. so I hope she'll look at different areas she is qualified for. The best thing is to get the foot in the door and then change to her desired position when possible. My job is finally turing away from the GIS work and more database management and science work. I think I'm ready to jump ship and join the GIS bandwagon.
