He was a legend. Went to all UCLA games too! He was at the hospital here too, tons of news vans.

Coincidentally, the founder of the John Wooden Award died today as well.

RIP JW. I used to always see him at his favorite greasy breakfast spot. I think he ate there almost every morning and lived to 99.

He was certainly one of the greats!

RIP to the greatest coach of any sport, of any time. Not only was he a great coach, he was a great person. If everyone had 1/2 the character and morals he did, the world would be a greater place.

Its graduation today, so there will be a special dedication to John Wooden, I've heard. There's a big bear staute outside of The Wooden Center, near Pauley Pavillion, and they've made a shrine there. Lots of flowers, cards, etc.
