It's Official - THP Fall Outing Announcement

Since this thread has grown so much and I am sure many people do not want to read through this entire thing I just want to remind everyone that we still have spots open for the THP Fall outing. This should be an incredible event and we can't wait to meet all our fellow THP'ers. Below is all the info on the outing and if you have any questions you can PM me anytime :smile:

THP is pleased to announce that the Fall Outing is now official. We have partnered with what we consider to be one of the finest golf resorts in the world and that is PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL to host this great event.

PGA National Resort & Spa (www.pgaresort.com) has been recognized by numerous golf publications as one of the top resorts in the U.S. and is the only resort to host a Ryder Cup, PGA Championship, and a regular stop on the PGA TOUR (The Honda Classic).

We held the Spring Outing & Demo Day and felt it was a huge success, but this is a different animal all together. In many ways, this will be a "first of its kind" type of outing and we think that it will be a memorable weekend for everybody that is able to make the trip to West Palm Beach and this incredible resort. The weekend will be filled with golf each day as well as time for food, drinks, and fun.

Itinerary
Friday Evening
Social Gathering where everybody can relax unwind and meet fellow THP'ers.

Saturday
Morning - Driver & Iron Demo Day
This is going to be a unique opportunity for people to try out drivers and irons from many different manufacturers. We will be able to provide information on each club and have a launch monitor on site for assistance.

Afternoon - 18 Holes
Round of Golf at one of the PGA National Resorts amazing courses. The format is TBD.

Evening - THP Dinner
THP is hosting a dinner buffet for everybody on us where all of the participants can relax and unwind and have food and drinks with fellow THP'ers. PGA National Resort & Spa has been gracious in assisting us in putting together a menu that we think everybody will enjoy.

Sunday
Morning - Putter & Wedge Demo Day
Another unique opportunity for people to try out putters and wedges from tons of different manufacturers. We will be able to provide information on each club and golfers will be able to try out different items to determine what fits their game.

Afternoon - 18 Holes
Round of Golf at one of the PGA National Resorts amazing courses. The format is TBD.

Evening - Dinner for those that are still around and want to get together.

What's It Cost
Single: $233.67 - Per Night
Double: $151.24 - Per Night
Deluxe resort accommodations with private balcony or terrace
Full American Buffet breakfast daily
One Round of Golf per person, per night
Driving Range usage daily
Golf bag storage
*rates are per person, per night including 11.5% Tax and Resort Fee
Resort Charge: A Resort Charge, per room, per night is included in all guestrooms utilized and included in the above rates. The Resort Service Fee includes unlimited local calls and long distance access (toll free, credit card, and collect calls), a daily morning newspaper for each room, in-room coffee, turn-down service, wireless internet access in hotel guestrooms and unlimited admission to the Health and Racquet Club Facilities.

The cost is broken down by golfer per room.
Examples - If a husband and wife are coming and both golfing the cost would be $151 per person per night. If that same husband and wife are coming and only one of them is golfing, the cost would be $233 for both of them per night. It is based on the # of golfers per room.

The cost includes Golf, Room, Breakfast each day, THP Dinner, Demo Days, & Range Balls. Other meals and drinks are not included.

*For those staying an additional night but not playing golf, PGA National Resort has helped out with that as well.
Single - $180.42
Double - $97.99
This would be for people wanting to check out Monday instead of Sunday after a long day of golf.

Stay & Play
This is a Stay & Play Event and is only available for those that choose to sign up for the outing and are staying on property.

THP Members Only
The Fall Golf Outing is available for THP members only and family of THP members. If a member would like to invite a friend we ask that they please sign up for the forum first. This outing is not open to the general public and will once again be no sales reps allowed. It is something that our members loved about the last outing and we are keeping it this way again.

The THP Fall Golf Outing is only available to a maximum of 50 golfers. We are limiting it for a reason, so if you are planning on going, you must sign up by contacting myself or Golfer Gal via email so that we can add you to the list. [email protected] or [email protected]

Once you sign up, you will receive instructions on booking your room through the resort.

Misc.
Anybody under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Rates will be extended for those that want to check in or check out early or late.
Shuttle Service from the airport is available ($30 per person) so no rental car is needed.
We are still debating on whether to play The Champion Course (where Honda Classic is played). The cost is an extra $50 per person for the round. But all the courses there are amazing.
Childcare services are available with Kids Club Wednesday-Saturday from 10 am- 4 pm. The ages for the camp are 5-12.
THP Outings are available for golfers of all skill levels and men and women alike.

Palm Beach Gardens is home to fabulous beaches and shopping as well as this amazing resort that most will never want to leave.

i-Bar is now offering all THP Members 2 for 1 drinks during the stay.
 
you forgot to mention that I'll be there GG, that could be a HUGE selling point for many, haha.

naw, this outing is going to be ridonkulous! i wouldn't miss it for the world.
 
All most put a BIG WRENCH in my FallOutting plans. :angry: dang near cut off my left middle finger@ the 1st knuckle today @ work. :banghead: but Doc says I'll keep it & all be fine..even to golf in Sept.. :banana:

OMG!! How scary!! I am so glad you can still make it to the outing but my goodness that is scary!
 
Also there will be golf arranged on both Friday and Monday for those arriving early or comming in late. There is another thread created for it but in simple terms if you are gonna be there early or late and want to play, let me know.

Already in July now. Not too much longer everybody. We think you guys are going to be blown away by what we have coming for everybody. The THP Dinner for Saturday night is taking shape nicely as well.
 
My dad and I have decided we're going to try to go as long as school and work permits. Is there somewhere to register for the event or anything?

I am so ready for this outing.... It seems the more stressful work gets, the more I look forward to my time off....
This outing sort of reminds me of an old Calgon commercial.. "Take Me Away"
Anyone remember that one??

Not too much longer! I was drinking a few and talking to Erica about how excited I was for this. I think she thinks I'm INSANE with the amount of time I spend thinking and talking about this trip.

My Ashley thinks the same way.....

Nothing can change my attitude about this trip though! It will be EPIC!! I'm so looking forward to meeting and hanging out with everybody!
