Clubs that are to short

Hello, I was just wondering if you knew what problems could come about play clubs that are to short for you, especially irons. Thanks!

Clubs that are too short can lead to mis-hits out on the toe. More important you will not be able to get into a proper setup, which means you will be making compensating moves through your entire swing to make up for the fact you are bent over too much or you have too much knee flex.

One other thing to consider is a shorter club will also cost you some distance.

I had always had a problem with standard clubs being too short for me. I got fitted this past spring for irons and it made a world of difference to me. Going form consistently in the high 90's to the mid 80's. If you do get irons that are a little longer or have the lie angle adjusted it will take you a while to get used to them so don't get frustrated in the beginning just give it time.
