There are days that I really hate my job and the idiots that I work for... Just saying....
 
there is absolutely nothing in the fridge/freezer to cook and its too cold to go grocery shopping

In my Work place, I'm the only one under 50 (i'm 30 btw) and I'm the only asian. First thing I had to do here was ask people to stop saying Oriental (that's meant for food and rugs. Not People). Then the day after that I had to explain to a co worker that while I am good at math, I DON'T ENJOY DOING MATH.

I'm ranting now cuz a coworker just unloaded on me about how companys can't say Merry Christmas anymore and are forced to say the more P.C. term Happy Holidays.
This is what he said: "Man Christmas is Christmas. I can understand Jewish People, but now there's this Kwanzai crap (get the idea he made his opinion 15 years ago and hasn't changed it?) Christmas is our holiday about celbrating the birth of Christ."
I responded "so where does Santa stand in your nativity scene?"
"What you got a problem with Santa Too?"
"No i'm just saying I love Christmas but I'm not christian, are you saying I can't celebrate it too?"
"No, that's fine, you're respecting our holiday, you're not making up some ******** and forcing it down my throat"

What does he think he was doing by the way?
I hate my job with such a passion its unbeleivable. Why do I put up with it? They're paying me much better than my last job, I get three days off, and I get a employee casino discount to a lot of the major courses here in town. So there's a lot I'll put up with, just not stupid racism.

Driving an hour and fifteen minutes to a no-show. Actually a cancel. Actually both. Guy meets me outside and says his wife is working late, sorry, we can't see you tonight. And I am leaving tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise, Tulsa was pretty productive. A lot better than Lincoln, NE.
 
the course had better be empty today since im gearing up to brave the cold... i want it all to myself dangit

I hit deer #2 with my truck last night.
 
Two things are bugging me right now, first how long it takes to ship stuff from the us to Canada and vice versa I'm sure. We are two countries that have been working together for a long time can't we find a way to ship a golf club what amounts to three states up without it taking 2 weeks. Arrrrgggg so frustrating waiting so long for something when it is so close, if I lived in say Florida which is further away from California then I am, I would have had my driver a week and a half ago. Second is Chris Berman at ESPN, he can be entertaining sometimes but then he will go from saying "WHOOP, WHO, POW, look at the spin WHOOP, he could go all the..., and now Tom some sad news from the NFL." He goes from being silly and crazy and then serious in 2 seconds. Just bugs me.

Berman is and has been overrated like most ESPN cronies

True but that doesn't mean his act isnt old, tiresome, predictable or overrated. He's more entertainment than substance at this point

i suppose i can see that. i'm just such a traditionalist. i like boomer, but you make a good point.
