Sunny Florida - Isn't TwoSolitudes an oxymoron ? BTW I love Italy Any good golf there?

It's from a book by Canadian by Hugh MacLennan. It is about how Quebec and the rest of Canada are both one nation and different worlds. I like the concept.

I am waaaaaaaaaay down in the South so golf is limited. But there are two really nice courses about 50 minutes drive. San Domenico is my favorite

I need to ask some of the American's out there that live in the northern, or midwest cold climates, why do you live there? I'm not trying to be funny, but in Canada I live in the best climate we have, and while I love it here the weather is about the same as seattle. But you guys can live in Florida, California, parts of the gulf coast, Hawaii, and the Carolinas. I get living in New York, or Boston, big east coast cities but for the rest, why do you stay when there are some amazing weather oprions?
