Chocolate Festival

GG and I went to a chocolate festival and ate our weight today. Here are a few pics I snapped.

There were a ton of great vendors and we came home with a bunch of cupcakes and other items. That last picture was a fun little setup. I had a deep fried Reeses Peanut Butter Cup that was to DIE FOR!

All in all, a fun day.

Not for me, but I do remember having a deep fried Mars in Scotland which was heart attack worthy.

At the PNE every year there is a booth that does deep friend sweets and is even willing to deep fry almost anything you bring them as well. I'm fairly sure their line up is at least twice as long as any of the attractions...

Smalls, this one is very cool. Lots of local vendors and they even offer classes such as Chocolate & Wine, etc...

We samples most things. I had the most amazing flan I have ever tried and I found out they are at a local farmers market every Saturday...that could be trouble. We had some of the most decadent chocolates and desserts we have ever tried. We even tried ice cream made with liquid nitrogen. Plus they had space ice cream! It's so gross but we had to get it. That one came home with us.

The funniest thing is that we were almost chocolate drunk so we had to go get BBQ for some saltiness to cut all the sweet we just had.

The Stampede has basically every fried food you can conjure up. Delicious and Disgusting - Deep fried Coke, mini donuts 'a plenty... my arteries crackle just thinking of it.

As soon as I saw those cake balls, I instantly got a huge craving. Had some red velvet ones the other day and they were awesome.
