Has anyone tried out a pair of any thintech shoes?

I understand the concept behind the design and all that but seriously, how much do a couple of millimeters matter?

If you have tried these out, can you compare them to your older (higher) spikes? Do you feel more solid now than you did before?

I very much believe in a lot of the adidas Golf shoe technology and have reviewed most of their last 3 seasons lines on the home page. I have added to links to this post that is definitely worth a listen when you get a chance. Two episodes of THP Radio featuring Masun from adidas Golf discussing their technology. Both shows are a ton of fun and very informative about footwear in general.

Cool, thanks for pointing me in the right direction! There is so much info here it's nuts

I think the technology that Adidas uses for their golf shoes is incredible. They have been my favorite shoe brand for about 3 years now and are still the only brand that I have been able to take out of the box and walk 18 holes without having any issues whatsoever. Nile and FootJoy both failed that test. Highly recommend Adidas shoes.

I have 3 pairs of the adipures and can say that they are the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn. The styling looks amazing and they are extremely durable. I have had mine for a year now and they still look close to new. Go to your local golf shop and try some on. They are a little pricey, but imo are completely worth it.

I recently got a pair and immediately purchased another after trying them out, for what it's worth, I did find myself more stable throughout my swing. Great shoes

I buy into their concept. My favorite shoes since I got a pair in my entire lineup and I think they create more stable platform and grip is best I've seen.

I own three pair of adidas, each with the thin tech cleat system. To me its a better base for the swing, in other words I feel more connected to the ground. I play a lot of night golf and after the grass gets a bit damp I can most certainly tell a difference compared to my old footjoys. Adidas has certainly opened up a new frontier with golf shoe tech and I think it shows in their increasing market share.

insert witty sig line here. Tapatalk
