The Morgan Cup - Want to be a Tour Player?

I'm out of the running on this one. This really bums me out. But, we need to visit my Dad over Spring Break. All of my bro's and sis will be going. That's a rarity.

We may try to go as spectator's. That is the weekend before school. So, maybe I can work a Disney World trip for the kiddo and add a stopover at Reunion Resort.

For me, my Dad's house is an 11 hour road trip. I figure that at 2PM EST, I will be somewhere in the middle of Texas, on I-20 watching tumbleweeds crossing the interstate.

After consulting Mapquest and Google Earth, I will be very close to here:

Hey TC it's going to be very windy and something is on the line. I'll expect you to fold like a cheap lawn chair and then the excuses will ensue.

I just learned I am playing Reunion on Sunday afternoon ahead of the Tavistock cup. Real practice on the real course...Advantage Team Paradise.

I'll be working on the yardage book.

I have to work on the 15th so there is no way I'll be able to send of an email at 2pm. So I guess that puts me out of the running ...oh and my post count is too low. Eventhough I'm not trying to qualify i'm pondering a trip down to watch.... not sure if this canadian can hack the heat in august!
 
Good thing I subsribed to the podcasts. I do not want to miss out on a chance at the cup.

wow...talking about having a leg up...getting to play the actual course early? We may have to check the official rule book on that one.
 
Put Captain B in the hands of a specialist along with an Alpha head and a House of Forged shaft and watch those distances numbers go higher...much higher. :)

I've played twice with you in Florida in the wind and haven't lost yet. I'd say you play there once a week from now til then. You're gonna need it.

It's nice to have the banter and all that, but perhaps you should also respond to the posts of THP members that aren't part of the THP "in crowd"? It would show a little courtesy to those who you may not have met but still have an interest in the goings on. :)

EXCELLENT...the home team has "an advantage" and the away team doesn't care in the least!! I love the confidence fellas...

As it gets closer I wonder who gets cockier. I've never seen either play but I hope too soon. Well have to get some side betting going! TC by two strokes? Or biggsy in a playoff hehe. This just rocks!

Im not sure. TC is too nice, and Biggsy just keeps posting pictures of numbers, which just confuses me. We get it biggsy, I failed grade 5 math. Stop with the numbers higher than 68.5

Soooo got me thinking:

Who ya like??
Biggsy and his long ball?
or
TC and the short game?

I'm of the belief short game trumps long game. But it sounds biggsy is working on his short skills and already has the long ball. TC is also working on te short game and concedes the long game.

I think my early money is on TC but I reserve the right to switch sides as more info comes in!
