Optimism doesn't pay off.
I looked at the forecast this morning... 20% chance of flurries and a high of +6C. Ok, I don't need my winter jacket.
Well, I'm looking out my office window and it's snowing and blowing like mad.
I'm so screwed for waiting for the bus this afternoon if it doesn't clear up.

Also, people always eat instant oatmeal in coffee cups here... and then don't rinse them out. They just throw them in the dish washer so they sit there and set for 8hrs before it gets turned on, so they never get cleaned out! Dumb people.
 
Attention all people who get donuts at the local gas station. Standing there for 5 minutes picking out the best dozen donuts makes me mad. Especially since you typically pick out all of the best donuts, leaving behind only the non-frosted baked donut and cocunut covered donuts. You can order your office supply of donuts ahead of time and they will set them aside for you, letting the rest of us walk in and have our choice of a single donut.

I was more upset at the fact that I couldn't eat any of those yummy french toast sticks. I agree, as long as they eat in the lunch room its not a problem. I did however sit next to a guy on a cross country flight that decided to eat tuna fish out of the can in the middle of the flight..needless to say many people were not happy.

the worst part is, they leave their squad cars running while getting said donuts.

so i went to dicks and golf galaxy and they had a bunch of sales on stuff i wanted
i got all excited rummaging thru stuff but it was either not my size in the clothing and shoes area
or it was left handed in the clubs area(wedges)
i did pick up a few things but left bummed that the price was right but the selection was not

On days when I want to call out sick to work I have doctors appointment. Note: all my doctors, aside from the dentist, are all across the street from work and it's a 35 mile trip one way in awful traffic that it takes me over an hour each way, hence the vanpool. Just thought I'd explain for those wondering :)

Two days left for Jacqui working full time with the company we both work for (She's gone to just part-time here and got another full time job elsewhere), and the KVM switch goes out. I'm not going to get one for two days, so we unhooked her computer and moved the wires to the work computer (which will be gone on Saturday) and brought down her laptop for when she needs to get on that. Her computer will just be off for the next couple days.
 
Went to one of the large golf dept. stores to get a couple of wedges re shafted three weeks ago. Got a call today said they were finished- went to pick them up and they were re shafted with the wrong shafts..... then the "specialist" tried to remind me that the shafts I wanted put in there are "stiffer than stiff, and you're sure you want that right?" Um yeah.... THAT'S WHAT I SAID THE FIRST TIME AND THAT'S WHAT I ORDERED" - wouldn't be bad except I LIVE AN HOUR AN A HALF AWAY.:angry::at-wits-end::banghead:

I HATE! When golf stores do that. Honestly the Golf Town here is so clueless. I honestly think I am more knowledged then they are and they try to tell me the dumbest things. Some guys there aren't even aware of some of the new products coming out. I bet you anything if I went in there and asked for some Spinners for my wedges they would have no clue what I am talking about - and they are a MASSIVE chain.

That is bad. I too live an hour and a half from a good golf shop. Sucks when you waste that much time.

Unreal... - you're probably right- they would have no idea what those are.... at the same time - the guy is probably working a second job on the weekends.. I felt bad after I went nuts...

That was what really fired me up at first. I can handle the mistake - whatever - but I just spent 3 hours in the car for nothing....

For the money you spent on gas, id invest in a little kit to do all of your own repairs. Grips, shafts, whatever. Everything through the mail would keep you from needing to drive. And if you're 90 minutes away, chances are someone else is looking for the same thing. Start doin grips and shafts outta your garage and make a little tax free coin.
