OK, now that May 28th is out of the running I'm OK with April 30th or May 7th. I prefer the Portland area and only 18 holes - I need to be back home to do dialysis so I would need to be home by 5pm.
 
I have a good friend that works for the wsga. If I can get an idea on a number I am certain she can get is a phenomenal group rate at almost any course over there. Just a thought.
 
I'm rooting for either Chambers Bay or 36 out at The Home Course.

I've got a Jeep Grand Cherokee that can haul a few guys and bags.

I played the Home course a couple years ago. Loved it !
Chambers...it was a good course, but I wasn't all that impressed.
 
Her actual office is at The Home Course.. I am gonna shoot her a message and see if she can give me an idea on a price for a buncha guys
 
I can probably make any of those weekends except for Memorial Day. The Home course will be more economical than Chambers, but both are great to play. Sounds like a great time, and I would love to meet some fellow "Hackers"!
 
Good idea drum. I got a message over to her, she is going to look into a price per person for 36 holes. Soon as I know I will post it here.
 
That Home Course looks great and the price is right, but it's 150 miles from my home...hmm...

That place is Aimpoint certifed for teaching, interesting. I've heard some cool things about how that teaches you to read the green.

Looks to be about a 4 hour odd drive from Vancouver. If we're talking 36, what time we start would be a factor into whether I'd have to stay overnight.

LOL. The last time I was in Seattle, my buddy drove us in his 350Z. His radar detector went off every 5 minutes, but I saw maybe 3 highway patrol cars the entire trip.
 
I could probably do the 30th and maybe the 7th but doubtful.
 
Okay I wanted to give an update. It sounds like the day that best fits the majority of people's schedules (from posts and PMs) is May 7th, so we are going to go with the 7th. Next is location, I still think that finding a geographic center is best for all involved. We have people coming from Eugene, OR, Eastern Washington, Seattle area, and BC. The only place that really fits the bill is Tacoma, WA. That will give most people hopefully no more than a 4hr drive (myself included). The other area we were looking at was Portland, but that is just too far for the people in Eastern Washington and BC to get to. So I contacted a few courses and we have been offered a great deal by Chamber's Bay. Their normal May rates are $165, which is just to expensive to expect multiple people to pay. We have been given a rate of $99/person for a group of 16 or more!!! I think that is amazing! I have heard great things about this course and it was easily the most requested venue. We also will have an option to replay at $65. I am super excited about this and hope you guys are as well. Please let me know if you can make it and if you would like to do a replay. Feel free to invite friends as well as the more the merrier! We need to act quick so please respond here and/or via PM if you are interested.

I would like a morning round, 9- 10 that way we can get 36 in for those who are interested. That will have me leaving my house around 4-5am if I drive up that morning.

I don't know about the replay right now. Having enough trouble playing 18 at the moment without being worn out, that may change in a few weeks though.
 
I just checked with my Event Coordinator - she reminded me that we're out of town on May 7th. Shucks. Chambers Bay sounds great, and it's < 3 hours away, so doable. I will be playing golf at a nice course that day though - at Eagle Crest.
