Dent, I feel ya. I used to work at a job like that. Standing and walking around doing nothing gets boring. It's rather easy to BS at an office job.

Excellent night for star gazing out here in the swamp...until someone put up this danged light. This mutha is bright as shat. And nobody answers that number fyi

What do you do there SW?

I'm a ranger here in the everglades. That airport was scheduled to be the largest in the world until the locals woke up and realized it. It now sits at the end of a dead end rd and is used for practice. Perfect spot for watching meteor showers and other celestial events, until someone put up the light.

Some bottom feeder stole my white out!

Maybe you just sniffed it too much and forgot where you put it while in your stupor?

It was the dry tape stuff... the good liquid stuff isn't available in my office!

Another Canadian disappointment. I have a giant tub of rubber cement sitting right next to me. Just makes the day fly by.

Hah, when I was working with Carbon Fibre and other composites/epoxies at 3am, walking to the bathroom [which was in the adjacent building filled with little bobcats and gators and diggers and tractors] was a spooky experience.

I hate parents who play both sides as a formality.

Dad plays whatever side Moms on because he wants some booty...or a new set of irons...whichever comes first.

Too much practice equals messed up ankle (left one and I'm R handed). Can't swing a club worth a damn right now. I did manage to limp around for 9 holes today and managed a 50 (not a good score but better than the last 2 outings and adding in the crappy ankle I'm OK with it). I hope it heals soon, the beginning of the season hasn't been too kind so far, 2 weeks out due to illness and now this. :disapointed:

4:20

Here, there are so many hippies and supporters that 4:20 is big enough to draw hundreds of thousands of people to a park in the middle of downtown Vancouver and shut down all the streets surrounding it from people wandering into traffic. Fan-fricken tastic at run hour when tens of thousands of cars are trying to leave the area...

I hear ya man, I didn't go anywhere near the parliament building or downtown today. Thank goodness.

I love golf! As soon as you have a few good rounds and feel really great about your game. Golf gives you a crap round to just remind you that you need to keep working. HAHA

Went to the back specialist again this morning for further tests and x-rays and got my test results ....partially ruptured disc in my lower back causing Sciatica (frayed or irritated Sciatic nerve damage) Basically the disc in one of my lower vertebrae has slipped out of place and is pushing against my sciatic nerve and causing me the pain in my back and leg. Supposedly 4 weeks of physical therapy and good anti-inflammatory drugs will have me good as new.

Good news is I can still play golf but need to take 3 of the anti-inflammatory pills 30 mins before my round or range session but I risk delaying my recovery each time I play or practice. Essentially it's ok for me to overdose on my meds in order to golf, thank you doc! Golf on I say....

Wow, that sounds eerily similar.

Dang, sorry to hear it Hanks. At least the cold weathers about gone, that always effects my back problems. Get well soon buddy.

Sciatic issues can be really painful. Hopefully you start feeling better soon.

Really? going through the same things? I may need to compare notes with you soon then....

CAR INSURANCE!

Car insurance really grinds my gears. There is no reason I should be paying 255/month. I have a spotless driving record and I went to one of the best driving schools in Ontario.

A little different, but virtually the same thing.
