Just been told by my club that from monday we have to use mats on the fairways and around the greens due to the state of the course after a summer of rain. Wondered if anyone could recommend a mat that's small and easy to attach on and off my bag/trolley?
I love the shafts in my Mashies and was thinking of ordering a similar shaft for my driver but have a couple of questions
1) Am I wrong to assume that just because I love them in my hybrids it will also be right for my driver?
2) As I have an adjustable driver do I need a special type of shaft...
I was purely wondering as if hadn't discovered THP I would almost certainly have saved myself a fortune on clubs and equipment and now I still don't have quite the bag I now want
Ping i20 irons, fully fitted with custom shafts
R11s Driver fitted with custom shaft
3x Cleveland 588 custom wedges...
Currently having a bit of a disgreement with Ping over their European edict of not selling any clubs online. I have their G15 irons and so I know my lie angle, shaft flex and want to by a wedge to the same set up but I can't do it online, I have to go to a shop!
Is it the same in the US?
Has anyone at THP tried one or got an official release date on this? Was on the Garmin website checking out the S1 watch I was considering getting when noticed a bit about the G6...it looks great!

Just wondering if it's just a massive THP thing to have custom shafts fitted or if it's generally more widespread in North America than Europe?
Over here in the UK shafts are barely mentioned in any magazines and where they are it's probably a paragraph at most!
I have a shop near me that will...
I'm probably being a) a bit lazy and b) a bit thick but can someone please explain stableford scoring in a very simplistic manner. I kind of get it but would just like it clarified as I'm sick of asking half way round the course what score I'm on and would like to work it out myself.
Got a nice cheque from the parents and need a new driver (probably R11 or Callaway Diablo or Razr Hawk) but I have a very consistent slice off the tee. I am in the process of having lessons and wanted advice.
Should I
A) not buy a driver at all and wait until pro has sorted out this slice?
B)...
Followed the launch on Twitter last night and have to say that the irons especially look absolutely no different than the G15's. Only real difference would appear to be a new shaft
Anyone considering new irons would do worse than try the G15's as pretty sure there will be some excellent deals...
What would you expect to lose in distance when using range balls? 1 club?
Just curious as took the new Ping G15's out for the 1st time last night and was hitting about 160 yrds with my 7 iron, about 10-15 yrds further my Cobra S3 Max's
On a side note, well done Ping....I was expecting 4-PW but...
I'm sure I'm not the only one but just wondered if anyone else has an utter dislike of certain brands whether the reason be rational or not. Even if these brands came up with the best product ever I'd have a hard time buying from them.
Don't be offended if you own these makes, as I said I'm...
or do you all use a specialist wedge?
I have my sand wedge in my bag but always use my Titleist Vokey 58*
I'm just thinking I might as well take it out and free up yet more room for other clubs
brother-in-law bought me a very nice MD Golf Seve icon driver......I just don't really like it. Play with him and father-in-law regularly so they'll notice if it's been replaced.
Any suggestions for how I get around this delicate issue? I thinking sabotage to the club
