Can anyone recommend an auto insurance tool that compares rate quotes?

We had AAA, now Geico, and just got our renewal and it is astronomical.

Starting to shop around, but want to avoid all the sales calls!

Find a good local independent agent and let them shop it for you. You won't pay any more, and they'll be much better positioned to know the local market and what is a fair deal. I've worked in insurance for 20 years, have a masters degree in insurance, about two dozen industry designations, etc and I use a local agent. Like good club fitting, go to an expert.
