I’ve actually been thinking about getting a net for the backyard, so be interesting to hear how you get on.

Time for some pics and impressions:

What’s in the box? Besides the obvious, they include a cool chipping target and also some metal poles if you want to ensure the net doesn’t fall over accidentally or if it’s really windy.

Below are some pictures of it fully set up. It takes less than 2 minutes to set it up fully once you have everything out. Really easy to set up and take down. At 8 by 8 it’s as huge as you’d expect. Would be pretty difficult to miss this net lol. The net quality is outstanding and looks like it would really stand the test of time (unless you are Sadlowski). If you have younger kids you could probably hit soccer balls into it no problem. I have hit wedge to driver on the net and it has worked as I expected. There is no ball return feature but all of the golf balls stay in the bottom netting area.

As if the net wasn’t enough Budget included some sweet swag secretly in the box. I had no idea what it was when opening the net. Thanks again Budget Golf!! You guys and gals rock!

TL:DR - this a great option for those looking for a net for your backyard or larger garage. High quality materials and it looks like it’s built to last.

Any questions fire away!

Looks great! I have the older model of this net and really enjoy it.

The key to this setup in the yard is buying a mat to go with it. (I need to buy one myself as I have dug a divot hole in my yard )

Yes a mat is absolutely necessary if you care about your lawn lol. I have a 3’ x 1’ mat that has the hole for rubber tees.

Bump, any one have questions or comments? What kind of net set up do you guys use?

Looks great, glad to hear it sets up and takes down so quickly. I live in a condo so easy removal would be key to get some use out in the yard

Any thoughts from the last few weeks? And issues or setbacks without it?

No issues yet. Seems like it’s built to last. Unless you are swinging like Sadlowski ;)

This is something I’ve thought about purchasing lately because of my hectic work schedule and my son playing PGA JR League. Looks really good!

How has it held up so far? Any problems with balls going through? Have you hit every club in your bag into it without issue?

I stick to irons and wedges right now but will try some hybrids and woods and will report back on the results.

I bought one of these and like it, but would not feel comfortable using it if my back yard was not immediately against a soybean field. I've missed the net before.

Thanks man! Looking forward to your feedback on tha aspect, I’d really like something I can hit any club into.

Thanks for pictures and the review. Question is it easy to take down as well? And did it all fit into the bag afterwards? Don’t want it sitting full time in the FL sun. Great looking net.

It’s easier to take down then put up and it’s pretty easy to put up. Everything folds and fits nicely into the carrying bag. It’s a little heavy so you probably don’t want to carry it on your shoulder for too long.

I had this net for 3 years outside in the FL sun and it held up great. Nice review.

in between a couple of calls I got out bqck to try my new toy out, and this thing is legit.
Like others have said it is so easy to put together. It took me a few minutes is all and if i can do it, most 9 yr olds will have no problem because i am horrible at putting things together.
Hit a few irons, a few drivers, and the net stops the ball great and doesnt roll in it and is easy to retrieve out.
I dont have a mat, but am going to invest in a good one so i dont dig up the bermuda yard.
Very fortunate to have a 1 acre lot so some pitch shots across the yard are definately get some shots as well, oh and maybe some punch shots that may come in handy like around the playground set from under the pines with a lil cut. lol
