I've decided to eliminate one variable, so I'm tying out balls. Bought a dozen Wilson Tour X, dozen Srizon Z-Star, Dozen Titlest AVX and two dozen Saintnine U-Pro for dirt cheap.

Gonna have to play a lot of golf to justify that, but I've always just played whatever I found on the course...

I just bought a set of 2019 Callaway Big Bertha irons last night, 5-AW, senior flex graphite. I had a set of these I'd bought new and was always sorry after I sold them for newer stuff in 2021. Nothing I tried since then felt so good. They are supposed to arrive by UPS on Monday and I'll immediately strip the grips, do an extension backweighted with 30 grams of leaf and regrip them with the 1/8" oversize jumbo grips I use. I hope to play with them on Wednesday.

I have played with the arccos for 5 rounds with my phone.

The link pro arrived today.

Should be nice to not have to have my phone on me at all times. The stats are pretty cool so far. I know some people don’t care about their max distances but I like to see them and try to improve them. A lot of fun stats so far.

I played 5 rounds with my phone and it worked flawlessly.
Zero missed shots.

Yesterday I tried my new link pro and it was terrible. Missed 12-16 shots. Very disappointed in it.

May give it one more try today but it is either defective or it sucks

I ordered a Cobra Darkspeed 4i today. This should close out my bag for 24

I also picked up a cheap range finder and I do mean cheap but in testing it seems to be accurate so far. Not bad for $26.
