I really like his Crowne Plaza commercials with him hitting balls around the hotel. This is the 2nd round of ads by them I have enjoyed. The Phil ads with the conference table full of people were great too.

He mentions teh Callaway swag for a reason...
If you stay there a certain number of nights, you can redeem 'points' for free Callaway gear (25 nights worth of points gets you a X22 iron set for example)

They are okay. Two things bother me with them though, one is the "with your Callaway blah blah blah" in every ad. The other is when he hits the hybrid/fairway wood/rescue whatever out of the window it falls straight down on the car, did Leadbetter miss hit it?? Small things I know, but just sayin'...
Oh trust me, we all have issues....hehe
Craig Mac, I couldn't agree more, the shot out the window drives me crazy as well. I am glad I a am not the only one with issues!
I don't have a problem with the marketing aspect, but I just find him saying "play this shot with your new callaway wedge/driver/3 wood" to be a little annoying to me personally. I don't have a callaway wedge, driver or 3 wood, so to me it comes off a little infomercialish. They are funny ads and I suppose it is a good marketing strategy, but to me it is like reward points on a credit card. If I stay 5 nights at the Crown Plaza in Richmond at $145 a night, I get a free $100 wedge.... But all in all I really don't care that much just giving my opinion on the topic.I find Ledbetter to be drab and boring, but I did laugh out loud at these commercials. And how can you have a problem with them pushing Callaway, it is a Callaway/Crown Plaza commercial?
I think Leadbetter is just creepy looking.
he reminds me of the crypt keeper...

John Clayton from ESPN?
