Who has the best swing on the LPGA tour?

I should know this, too. In terms of bang for the buck, Yani Tseng's is amazing. Lorena Ochoa never ceases to amaze--how someone that teeny can wallop the ball like that is stunning.

But pure pulchritude? Someone else has to go first.

My vote that I forgot to put in there was with Ochoa. It just looks so fluid.

My favorite is Annika's. To me it's the effortless factor, she looks like she just taps it off the tee and not like some of these girls that *try to* put so much power into it, that you wonder how they can do that 18 times, 4 days in a row.

I heard her asked in an interview how she dealt with the pressure of tourney play and what her strategy is - she said, "It's just a Sunday playing golf."

Angela Park has a beautiful swing:

(sorry, I couldn't find a better video)

Annika's is a little upright, but she has metronome-like timing.

Lorena's swing isn't traditionally "beautiful", but man does she generate power. Gotta respect that.

I like the swings of Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis for the same reason I like Jim Furyk's swing - it gets the job done in it's own special way.

In that same way a folding lawn chair looks like your breaking it when opening it up, but man it can be comfortable...:snicker:

Wow! That one seems to be my Achille's heel, huh?

Claire - 2
Harry - 1

I'll say--the name is Achilles, so it's Achilles' heel.

Not a Classics major, were we?

Great question. We were just talking about this. It's tough to beat Annika's or Lorena's, but recently, we've had the opportunity to see most of the field up close. The swing of one Korean player stands out - Ji Young Oh - very fluid. Sweet.

Glad to see you here!

Well, it's been a few years and the LPGA landscape has changes significantly. So who has the best swing?
I'm fan of several, but my favorites belong to Amy Olson's, Sung Hyun Park, and Maria Fassi. All different, but smooooth.

I think it's Inbee Park! Jk, jk. She gets it done though. Right now I enjoy a couple swings on the LPGA. Minjee Lee from Australia, and also Nellie Korda.

So many amazing swings. Fassi has a violence level that I appreciate, although her game is so deep in the crapper right now it may not be a good thing.

So I'll give to Brooke Henderson, because Canada and because I like that she isn't just another "Adam Scott" robot like so many.

How could I forget Brooke? Love her swing and she’s got the juice too. She can hammer it.

There’s a lot of great swings on the LPGA tour but Maria Fassi is my favorite by far. So much power packed into that swing.
