But do they get get scuff marks on them from taking them in and out of your bag? My last Callaway driver had a white shaft and it had that problem.

I like the detail of having the white outline around the grooves...mine have that same feature too and it really helps with squaring the club face and aiming.

Nike held a demo at a local range last night. I hit the Machspeed with stiff shafts, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I currently game Adams Pro Gold with Project X Flighted 6.0, and the Machspeed are about as Polar opposite from these clubs as you can get.

I was expecting to not like these, but my results were distance gains of a good club to club and a half, along with (and more importantly) significant dispersion gains. More or less I found these irons to be point and shoot. The Machspeed technology works - shots out on the toe fly straight and even draw back towards target. Those shots lost minimal distance. I even found them to feel pretty decent - not forged, but nice nonetheless. I am definitely interested in these, and am going to look for someplace where I can hit these with different shafts into a launch monitor to try and tweak performance.

I would also want to get fit for length and lie as these are longer and more upright than any iron I have played.

On the downside, the stock grip is pretty bad - but this is an easily correctable situation.

Thats one of the things I really like about these clubs. That outline really helps at address and set up

I had the same problem with the grips I got mine regripped immediately. I was getting terrible blisters but it was a relatively cheap and easy fix. I am glad you found the same findings as our testers did. It seems to be pretty unanimous that the MachSpeeds are solid clubs.

The main reason I made it out to the demo was to try the Machspeeds after reading your thread about them from a couple of weeks back. I think I am at the point in my game where I need to play what works best vs. what looks best. I figured if you are gaming them and have a handicap 1/2 of mine, then I should at least give them a look.

I would definitely see my handicap coming down 2-3 strokes with these vs. my irons. I simply don't play or practice enough anymore to get the best results from the Pro Golds.

Yes - very solid clubs. The PowerBow technology works, no doubt about it.

I did the exact same thing 3 years ago and have never looked back. The added forgiveness has helped my game come down a ton. In our latest magazine, Hoeflich talks about clubs in this very case.

When is your next edition of the magazine coming out? Are they available at say Barnes and Nobles, or do I purchase directly from you?
