This question reminds me of an old basketball coach from years ago who's wife said "he loves basketball more than me" to which he replied "yes but I love you more than track"

What does golf have to do to make you love it? Golf asked me to ask you.
 
I love golf. I love being outdoors in great weather. I love playing with my wife, brother, other family members and the great friends I've made over the years on the course, not to mention the challenge of me against the course. Whats not to love?
 
Love is a strange way to put it for me. For me, it's like an appendage. I could live without it and I would be miserable for a long time without it, but I would eventually adapt.

Well, I would think anyone who is a member of this forum loves golf. I sure do.

It would have to be so dear to me that I'd give up anything for it, and do anything for it, no questions asked. After 50+ years, our relationship (me and golf) has never reached that level.

But I do absolutely LIKE golf with a passion.
