Bayonet / Blackhorse golf club in Monterey, CA is having a "Patriot Day" scramble tournament this Labor Day.
This is a great, charitable, event where a team of 3 golfers is matched up with an active serviceman/servicewoman for a round of golf in a scramble format tournament with proceeds going to the Folds of Honor Foundation.
I think it would be fun to put together a team of 3 THPers to enter! Anyone interested? Price is $79 for a noon shotgun start and includes the round, cart, and range balls as well as prizes and a BBQ.
The Folds of Honor Foundation provides educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our great nation. To date, more than 2600 scholarships have been awarded by the Folds of Honor Foundation.
