Just signed up to thp so thought i would introduce myself. I am a new generation australian (from england, moved here in 2007) who started playing golf about 18 months ago and have now developed a bit of an addiction. Thankfully the wife is really supportive of me as long as I get my chores done- then I can go out to play. At the moment I am managing to average around 27 -36 holes per week and had begun to settle into a bit of consistency with my scores, well until a couple of months ago anyway. I started getting some poor rounds where the whole game went south, so I took the plunge and, following the reviews from this site, had myself fitted with a set of WS D200 irons about 3 weeks ago.
I figured if i was in the bottom of a trough gamewise, it was probably a good time to upgrade from the cheap starter set I had. Unfortunately for me, forgiving clubs can only do so much, and i am only now starting to get back in the groove as it were- maybe if i had taken more time setting up and taking control of my posture i would have avoided the heartache of submitting a card where even if i had doubled my handicap i still would have came out 5 over par.
Anyway, things are looking up again, and I will hopefully be letting you fellas on here track my progress to all time greatest golfer by about september. Or not , more realistically.
By the way, D200 irons are great, the 3 hybrid better.
