Hello THP World,
A little bout me, age 36, day trader/sports handicapper from south Florida area.
I was never much of an athlete only played a little tennis when I was younger. Never picked up a golf club until age 32, tried to play at first with a set of old (unbeknownst to me) "better-player" clubs including 8.5* driver and blade irons which obviously made the game very frustrating. I quit the game for 2 years but at the end of last year my nephew convinced me to give it a 2nd try with "game improvement" clubs that I can actually elevate the ball with, and now I'm very addicted to golf, playing 18 holes twice a week now for a full year. Never taken a lesson from a pro just my nephew giving some tips, I'm usually shooting around high-80's to mid-90's lowest round so far is 83. I think I will go for my first lesson with a pro soon, hoping to keep getting better and eventually start shooting in the 70's. Deeply regret not trying this great game when I was younger, I really appreciate the fact that the game has given me an outlet to improve my body and my mind.
