I was fit and found a great shaft that worked well for me when I was being fit for a 13.5* 3W. My question is... would I likely be fit for the same shaft on a 5W? I wasn't really in the market for a 5W and really started thinking about it and will likely make the switch. Would it be likely that the same shaft that fit the 3W best for me be a good option for me as far as the 5W is concerned?

In many cases, yes. But with loft, spin and launch can change so its not a hard and fast rule.
