    Putter offest and eye dominance

I have been reading about the SeeMore putter line quite a bit lately and have started to wonder if my putter fits my stroke. I have an arc to my swing, sometimes slight, sometimes bigger, :) Consistency, I know... Anyway, I currently game the Method 001 and like it, but wonder if it fits my eye dominance. I have read that eye dominance plays a major part in lining up puts, and shaft offset. I am a RH player that is left eye dominant and have read that a zero shaft offset is better for left eye dominant players. Does this matter or am I over thinking this? Will the RST of the SeeMore eliminate eye dominance or am I just searching for something else?

I too am in your boat. I have just begun learning about the intricacies of putters and putting. Additionally, I am a RH player that is Left Eye Dominant. In the words of the Rife Putters Company (from putterzone.com) : "For a right-handed player who has a dominant left eye, the eye closest to the hole, we would typically fit them with a straight shafted putter because that puts their dominant eye over the ball. For a person who is right eye dominant, the eye furthest from the hole, we would give them an offset shaft. Putting the ball under the dominant eye helps the player line up the putt with more accuracy. Offset putters typically help golfers keep their hands in front of the ball at impact and promotes less break down in the wrists."

I read he exact same article, but right before I read that I read this article:

    http://www.mygolfperformance.com/2011/02/02/how-to-find-the-putter-of-your-dreams-in-five-minutes-or-less/

which contradicts the putterzone one and common sense. To me, more offset would seem to seem to favor a right eye dominant player. I don't know if it's me, but I prefer to have my ball all the way to the left almost on my left foot instep when putting and I am RIGHT over the ball. I have soooo much to learn and would love to improve my putting this coming year as I had entirely too many 3 and 4 putts. No one round here sells seemores and they really intrigue me.

I don't personally think eye dominance is linked to offset. I believe eye dominance is linked to how you setup and see the line of the putt. As someone else indicated offset is used to counter other factors by adjusting hand position and direction of the swing.
