The only thing left to replace is my putter which will be next month... LOL I hardly ever use my woods so I might just get another Mashie and take those out.

Depending on what the store manager says, I might have to buy a demo driver. I put a small dent in the crown on a serious miss hit.. UUUHHHHHHGGGG!

Just leave. It's their fault for not having demo clubs.

This IS a demo. He broke the new wrapper off of it so it would be a demo. I have a few of his demo drivers I am trying out at the range this week.

Isnt that the point of a demo club then? It's not like you did anything wrong with it.

When giving out demo clubs you expect typical wear on the face from hitting balls and scuffs on the bottom from hitting the grass, but not a dent in the top of a driver. If this was somewhere like Golfsmith it wouldn't matter, but if this is a club or privately owned little pro shop you're asking them to pretty much eat the price of a new driver.

Correct. With demo clubs, shops expect average wear, but then resell them to cover a large percentage of the cost at the end of a particular time. Most people don't understand that shops still pay for demo clubs. Something like a dent in the top may make it unsellable on the market after a demo period. Meaning the owner would want some sort of cash to cover the cost and possible profit he lost because of the dent.

Its an Edwin Watts. The guys there are really nice and he probably won't want money. I am purchasing a new driver from them and I have just ordered new irons from them so i doubt he says much.
