Just bought a Titleist Mix from knetgolf.com and found about 8 of these in there. Just wondering what they compared to. I did a google search and found that they are from Japan, and not made here in the states. They look sweet, but are they any good???
 
Definitely Japanese. Best thing you can do is give them a whack and see if you like them. I'm not entirely sure if they are legal here or not, I'll let someone more knowledgeable answer that.
 
The VG3 is a distance ball made exclusively for Japan. It had a low spin surlyn type cover and soft core. I played it a few times and found it lacking for what I was looking for. It was similar to the Precept Laddie or Noodle if I had to do a comparison for some other golf balls.
 
I'm definitely going to try it out. Its a cool looking ball.
