7 Bridgestone Ball Models Receive Golf Digest’s Highest Honor


Covington, Ga. — Bridgestone Golf, the #1 Ball Fitter in Golf, announced today that seven of the brand’s golf ball models received the coveted Gold Medal distinction on Golf Digest’s 2012 Hot List. The B330 family, e5, e6 and xFIXx balls were awarded gold honors with the TOUR B330 line and the xFIXx receiving Category Leader titles in Innovation and Performance, respectively.

Well deserved for Bridgestone. I actually have played the xFixx ball. Its a really good cold weather ball for me. I usually game the 2010 B330-S. But found very similar performance to it from the xFixx in cold weather, less than 40*.

The B330-RX is my gamer but I tell you what, the xFIXx is a phenomenal ball. In all honesty, I had a hard time seeing much of a performance difference between the 2.

All that has been in my bag for the 2012 season is Stoney balls. B330-RX, which Bridgestone put me into and the B330-RXS, which I bought to try out myself. Both are fantastic and I was spinning the RXS like crazy this last time I played. A couple of my playing partners asked where the hell that was coming from. LOL.
