12 months ago I broke my ankle at work and it hasn't been right since....after much arguing with my Doctor I finally got to see a specialist who confirmed that it wasn't healed correctly and I need an operation to release a trapped nerve. The operation is this Thursday....and marks what I hope will be the start of a journey back to doing the job I love....some weight loss ...and better golf.
I intend to share this journey with you fine individuals for several reasons...not least of which is hopefully what I m going to go through can help someone else in a similar predicament....and hopefully to find and share some useful training and golf improving tips for me and everyone out there.

I have given myself the added incentive of a new set of irons for when I am fit again.....so here's hoping all goes well on Thursday....I will post a pic of the scar:bulgy-eyes:

The bright side I suppose is that I will have an excuse to sit in front of the TV this coming weekend....is there anything on I might enjoy watching :golf3:

I wish you a speedy recovery! I am sure you will be back to 100% and playing golf in no time! I guess if I had to choose any weekend to stay home and watch TV it would be this one, MASTERS!!

Well back at home. In and out of hospital on the same day which is good because they aren't my favourite places. On crutches so even practising putting maybe problematical :bad:
two weeks till the stitches come out and physio can start.....the wife has taken to calling me Doby( house elf from Harry Potter) on the bright side I can still watch the Masters whilst ironing :banghead:

And back to the hospital today after I tore the stitches in my ankle ....wasn't pretty . Moral of the story don't try putting too much weight on your newly mended ankle ........ Live and learn

Rest up Ranger and give that ankle time to heal up. It's only early April, you should be good to go by June buddy.

Here's to hoping for a speedy recovery!

Wmac19. That's a lovely dog...I work with German Sherpherds frequently ...fantastic dogs
been back to hospital again for more stitches and bandages ..the op site keeps opening even though I am trying hard not to over use it. On the brightside I am improving no end on Tiger Woods 13 on my Xbox ....:act-up:
