MP-H4 looks pretty bland but I'm intrigued - I think it will be more than meets the eye.
    OT.

When you go for the H4, I can help you to get rid of those MP-53's.

They all look buttery. Meh, there's not too much that catches my eye with these on the initial pics, even though I'm a Mizuno fan.

The one thing I do find different is that they're all badged 'MP'....yet the H4 seems to be more in the MX mould. An attempt at luring more customers with the 'players' aspect of the MP line and making forgiving seem a little sexier?

Can you explain how the sole of the irons is "completely" different?
FWIW, not every company releases irons each year.

I wouldn't mind seeing them either. I was a little under whelmed by the 53's, even though I thought they looked fantastic. I think the H4's look nice but the 64's are stunning. I wonder why Mizuno got away from the "MX" title. I preferred it when MX meant a little more cavity, lines and MP meant a little more serious.

I've never seen a Mizuno club that was unattractive and these certainly continue the trend. I bet if they came with C-Tapers as the stock shaft the forum would be a blaze about them

I'm sure TC meant to say 'workable'. Or maybe 'soft'.

A guy at PGA Superstore was telling me about Mizuno's new driver. Apparently, the Mizuno rep brought it to the store and all of the better players raved about it. It will be interesting to see if the public's reaction is the same, because Mizuno drivers typically don't get very good reviews.

I agree that the irons look similar to prior models, but that is the Mizuno brand.
    Current Setup:

64: Meh looks like just another Mizuno iron that looks great and will feel horrible to me. IDK if Mizuno's are "buttery soft" as the silly expression goes call me a hard candy man i guess >.<
H4: This one I may bother to try, more along the JPX pro Mx 200 series it looks like and I haven't minded these.
the 64 driver: Looks clean? (go figure) Only ever hit 1 Mizuno driver so not much to go on.

Couple more pics of the MP-H4 iron. Apparently a replacement for the Fli-Hi. I originally thought these would be a full set. Interesting that Mizuno is going towards the look of a long iron again with this....

What do you mean, "again"? Mizuno has always made the MP Fli-Hi to look like a long-iron.

In the uk they only get the long irons 2,3 and 4. And these are semi hybrid long irons. So far the reviews on them are fantastic. In the us we are getting the full set. The other scoring irons are more regular scoring "players" irons. Basically the full set is gradual with the short irons being very precise. All of them have the great sfot feel of forged irons mizuno is know for.
As for the shaft the c-taper is now available from mizuno. I love that shaft.
The h4 are also delayed and will be available at the end of November unfortunately. The 64 are available now.

I saw the H4's yesterday but was unable to hit them. They are thick but man do they look like they can crush a ball.

That is exactly right. And apparently they do, a pro I trust very much told me he was putting them in the bag. The long irons 3 & 4. He is also getting the 64 for the rest of the set.
I am thinking of getting them myself, the all h4 set from 4 to PW with the c-taper shaft.
Unfortuantely I have to wait A couple of months more to get them.
