FSGA Events

For the Florida forum members out there, I am wanting to play in some tournaments around Central Florida, and I see there are One-Day Events around everywhere that look to be a good start to try out and play in. Have any of you FL players played in any of these events before? What could I expect?

I have yet to actually play in one of them but plan to play in about 4-5 later this year (the ones closer to me that I care about are later in the year, starting in September). But I asked about them before and have been told they are nice and well run. How can you complain about getting to play nice courses for cheap? I could care less about the competition at that point, just being able to play some of those courses period is worth it.
