My Bushnell Tour V2 Calibration is way off.
Has anyone had any experience recalibrating one without sending it in? I called Bushnell and they said the repair could take 4 - 6 weeks. They also said it is only free if it is still covered by the 2 year warranty if you send in a copy of your proof of purchase. I sent my proof of purchase off for a rebate when I bought it on Black Friday 2010. That said, they will use the manufacture date which is probably well before the true date of purchase. So it looks like I will may be without my Range Finder for 4 - 6 six weeks and there may also be a hefty fee involved in recalibrating.
I would like to try and do it myself. I searched the internet quite a bit but was unable to find anything directly related to this model. I noticed the eyepiece rotates and thought that may have something to do with the calibration.
Anyone have any input?
(Battery has already been swapped out)
