Differences between PXi and Project X 95 Flighted in 5-PW?

So they're both lighter weight versions of the original Project X, but what are the differences in 5-PW (flex, spin and launch height)?

Would like to get PXi's in my X Hot Pro's, but wondering if the upcharge is worth it. I hit the PX95's decent but that PXi sexiness just keeps calling me. Haha.

Are they virtually identical in 5-PW? I'm thinking they they will be lower launch 8-PW with the Project X 95 Flighted, but not by much due to the lighter weight.

Sorry, I haven't. I'm thinking there has to be somebody that has. Maybe they just didn't see the thread.

I have not hit them side by side to be honest with you. Just going off the little I know about each shaft I would say your launch and spin would drop going from the 95 to the PXi. How much, I have no clue.

I wish I had some help on the same topic my friend. I've been playing the Callaway X Forged irons with the stock PXi shaft and I've demoed the X Hot Pro with the PX95 Flighted but I just don't have enough experience to be able to tell you the differences between the 2. The PXi is not flighted so perhaps they're equal in comparison of the original PX shaft with the PX Flighted, I really don't know just yet but that's a question I myself look to get answered as I get closer to ordering a set of irons for the Morgan Cup.

This is exactly the thread I was looking for. So far, I haven't hit them in the same head. Just X Forged and XHP's.

In my comparison side by side the pxi were much lower in flight. Both however were quite spinny, had to go up a flex just to keep the spin down.

    Hi. These shafts are available.
Here is the comparison. The flighted PX 95 is a higher launching, higher spinning shaft. The weight on the flight end 95 in a 5.5 flex is 101 grams and the PXI is 108 grams. The balance point is slightly more tip heavy in the PXI shaft. The PXI is also a little made for a more aggressive transition swinger.
Both shafts are taper tipped. The cost between them is about $4.00 per shaft.
The rifle flighted shaft can be made from a parallel tip in a 5.0 blank, then trimmed to become a flightscope set. The weight increases about 10 grams.
The standard PX shaft in a 5.5 is 115 grams, produces a slightly more penetrating ball flight. The biggest difference is the balance point of the shafts. The PX is a little more tip heavy than the PXi shaft.
    Hope this helps.
