    Adams 2014 XTD Driver

Coming out Nov 15th, has the velocity slots on the sole and crown. Will be stocked with a Matrix Red Tie shaft (this one? http://www.thehackersparadise.com/?p=19385). Available in 9, 10.5, and 12. I'm not really in love with the look of this one, but still interested to see it in hand.

Here's a GolfWeek article on it:
    http://golfweek.com/news/2013/oct/14...?For-Your-Game

The fairway woods are also in the article. Says the prototypes had CT scores over 300. I want to hit one of those!

(Didn't see a thread on this)

Love the commitment to test every single head for maximum COR. Gives it a bit of credibility in the quality of the manufacturing process.

I don't have any brand prejudices, but Adams' drivers have always suited me very well for some reason. I've been very reliable with my F11. Looking forward to trying this one.

I like that they have a bottle opener on the top of the club...that could come in handy.

“We are not chasing the overall distance claim,” Honea said. “We want to deliver a product the golfer can hit the best.”

That right there is enough to make me want to try it.

"The interchangeable Fast Fit system from Adams is now compatible with TaylorMade’s fitting system, meaning a golfer can use either Adams or TaylorMade fitting carts to find the best combination of driver head and shaft."

    Options? LOTS of options.

Never owned an Adams driver, but the people I know who own them seem quite content. If they aren't chasing distance, these things had better be accurate / forgiving.

Thank god for this. That was one of my biggest complaints when I reviewed last year's line.

That's a great change there. I would think that could bring some looking strictly at TaylorMade over to Adams.
